Colorado Cycling Camp – High Altitude Training (Sleep High, Train High and Low) July 2016

This camp is cycling focused.  Day 1 campers will fly into Denver and get their bikes assembled.  We will be based out of Nederand, CO (above Boulder about 20 minutes) and will be riding at approximately 9,000′ feet for 30-60 miles daily.  Two days will include 100K rides around Boulder at approximately 5,500′ of elevation.  Breakfast and nutrition on bike will be provided with nearlby options for lunch and dinner.  Ultracyclists and RUSA Members will have the opportunity to complete two 100K Permanents towards their R12  More details to come.  Expect to head home with strong, powerful legs and a significantly increased red blood cell count.  The latest in high altitude adaption techniques will be used.
