Swimming Coaching Program for Triathlon and Endurance Swimming – An Eight Week Program
Program Dates: February 1st – March 31st, Mondays & Thursdays 7:30-8:30 PM
Taught by: USA Triathlon Certified and IRONMAN Certified Coach Clare Zecher
Location: Greenwich YMCA (special rates for clients of Clare Zecher Coaching)
Week 1: Underwater Videotaping, drills orientation, and swim fitness assessment
Weeks 2 – Week 7: Form and endurance development, overall swim fitness improvement
Week 8: Final analysis and testing

Goal: To introduce swimmers to the art of endurance swimming, to improve form and efficiency of the swim stroke, to build confidence and assurance of abilities in the pool and open water
Who Should Take This Class? Anyone who can comfortably swim the free style at least 100 yards and who wants to be able to swim longer and improve fitness in a safe and fun manner.
Each week swimmers will learn and practice drills to improve their swimming. The course will have two tracts, the first for newer swimmers and the second for more advanced triathletes and open water swim racers, such as those who have done the Greenwich 1 Mile swim.
Participants will have the opportunity to try out AquaSphere goggles and gear during the course!
